We have been using OpenCATS since version 0.91, just upgraded to 0.9.3-3.
One problem we have encountered is the incorrect presentation of latin characters beyond ASCII.
Words with characters from other languages than English e.g. ångström (Swedish) did not display correctly. (For a similar issue see also viewtopic.php?t=636)

Since 0.9.3 the problem seems to be fixed for data entering via the browser interface.
However, the problem still exists for conversions from PDF with pdf2text.
Any latin character in a pdf document which is beyond ASCII seems to be saved incorrectly in the database.
Therefore in Candidate Search it is not possible to search for these terms.
Any converted resume containing such terms displays the known 'strange' symbols.
I hope somebody of the developers can fix that.
