Hi, I'm new to OpenCATS and would like to install v0.9.4. When I did a tar -tvzf, I found that the extract would not create an opencats subfolder. Is there any installation guide for version v0.9.4? Or better still, is there any shell script for installation in ubuntu?

Not sure that there are any differences. The documentation should suffice. Unsure about the scripts. I haven't tested them since the new release.
