Hi,
I've installed the dev branch on a vm with php7 to take a look at php7 compatibility but the installer is complaining that no php mysql extension is loaded. Does this branch still need mysql or does in now use mysqli?

looks like my fault, cloned the master branch by mistake

All good so far, you have seen my comment on Github re incompatibility with mysql, fine with mariadb

Oh, it works with mariadb? Thanks, I'll try it out now! I was having compatibility issues, and it took me more time than I expected, and now I'm a bit late for my next task at work, an article about the Montenegrin citizenship program https://tranio.com/montenegro/passport/, I'll try to work with mariadb as quick as I can and hope I'll have time for the rest of my work!
