Re: License question

This is a late opinion on the matter, and I HATE to attempt to speak for the CATS folks, but I'm confident on this. In a nutshell, the license restriction is like this. CATS (OpenCATS) users can't do anything to MAKE money off of CATS (OpenCATS). That's a safe litmus test. If you're using it for you...

Re: install cats on wampserver for windows

I have set it up on windows with WAMPserver more than once and it's (I hate to say it) easier than a linux install. The instructions should suffice, the resumeindexingtools.exe is available in the downloads section of opencats.org.

Any updates on whether it worked all right?

Re: SugarCRM/CATS integration

I've seen that thread before and personally I don't think that was anything but an attempt to drum up interest and exposure in CATS.

I tried to get that recruiting module to work a few times in sugarcrm and could never do it. HAs anyone had success with that?

There are no restrictions on usage. You can use it for your own company in any way you want. What you can not do (basically) is charge for providing services supporting or hosting CATS.

Sounds like an even better option. I can't read it though

Alex....I am under the impression that boolean is functional within CATS too. I tried "business analyst" and it pulled up the exact phrase. What exactly are you trying that isn't working?

I just want to mention that I spent a fair amount of time reviewing options for offsite CATS hosting. Regular website hosting won't do it because the resume parsing packages aren't typically installed in that environment, no root access, etc. A Virtual Private Server is the only thing that seemed li...

There is an easy mod for 0.9.1 to access certain functionality that was limited in the release. It's noted in these forums but in a nutshell you need to add a directory (rename is "asp", do NOT change the file extension to "asp"), I'm almost positive (though not 100% sure)this wi...

Someone dug it out of their CATS installation a few months ago. Very helpful for 0.9.1 installs.
