Custom fields added to Candidates but not available for candidates to fill when applying

I installed the latest version of OpenCATS yesterday on my web-server.

I added a few custom fields for Candidates to fill. However, when candidate was applying through external job posting portal, they didn't see these custom fields that I added. These only seem to be visible to the recruiter (user of OpenCATS). Is there a way to make the custom fields available for Candidates to update themselves?
