Didn't see this section earlier.

I have the same issue, mass import doesn't work. It shows the following error:

"None of the files you uploaded were able to be imported!"

Any leads on this?

Hi guys, there's an open issue on github with the file identified that needs to be amended to have this work. However the 'quick workaround' is to import them via the Settings / Administration / Data Import option.

Hi Russh

Thanks for your response. Sorry I’m not a very tech savvy person regarding coding etc. is the issue resolved or in the pipeline or does your response provide a solution. I tried importing from the setting tabs but it states nothing in the folder the cvs were uploaded to.

What do I do

Many thanks

Can you check that your webserver user and group has write permissions to the upload directory?

Are you talking about massimport directory permissions in Windows? They seem to be fine to me. I have tried to repeat it via localhost on the server and also remotely but same error occured both times. I have changed the name of my OpenCATS installation, I hope that is not what is causing the issue.

Hi there RussH,
So I’m currently having the same issue with the mass import. I’ve tried through both the regular route which is the adding candidate and then through administration using data import. I currently use it locally until we’re ready to deploy it online but this feature is extremely important for us since we have high volumes of applicants.
Could it be their PDFs not being parsed properly or an actual issue?

Hi Kline,

okay so you're getting into some awkward issues here. as standard, the bulk import features will rely on the 'optional' document conversion utilities you're prompted to install during the install wizard, i.e. pdf2txt etc. I don't believe these are installable on Windows?

There was an alternative 'binary' drop-in replacement that was shared on the forums previously that could be used on Windows, but as it was binary only I never added it into the main release. It's linked here; https://forums.opencats.org/viewtopic.p ... nary#p5377
