Hello,

I am trying to install OpenCATS on Windows 10 Home. I followed the instructions listed but I am currently stuck on PHP MySQL extension (mysql) is not loaded error. I have installed Xampp, and Composer. I created opencats user and opencats database. However, when I start the installation, I get the following error message.


I have looked a multiple forums and updated php.ini file by adding extension_dir and extension for php_mysql.dll as well. Nothing seems to solve the problem. I would appreciate some urgent help.

Hi,

the current release would refer to mysqli rather than mysql. So you're trying to install an older version of opencats on a new (unsupported!) version of php.
