Log Activity

Hi All

I am looking for some advice, When a user logs an activity and makes a change to status and activity type , I do not receive an e-mail. Is this by design or is it something I have not configured yet. I have all the boxes ticked in e-mail settings. I do receive e-mail if an owner or recruiter is changed. I am not receiving e-mail if a status change is made.

Any help with this problem would be great.
