Hey just wanted to say - make sure you get Sphinx installed to get the most out of your OpenCATS.. it really speeds "Meow-Meow" up.. exec. time goes down to milliseconds even with hundred of thousands of records..

We had Sphinx consultants help us out to do the install.. their $200 an hour rate is a bit steep but considering it makes a Porsche out of your KIA is well worth it..

Thanks for the advice - it does remind me, I need to post the advice on how to configure the more recent SPHINX releases that'll support boolean operations in freeform text search. it's a little bit involved but very worthwhile.l
