Hi,
I am trying to install open cats on Centos 6.2, PHP, MYSQL, APACHE environment.

When I run the installwizard.php, I am getting the error message "PHP SOAP extension (SOAP) is not loaded. Please check php.ini"

I have tried to include
extension = soap.so ( with and with out path)

I get an error message " path/soap.so -- unable to find directory. Could not open file or directory"

How do I get SOAP to be enabled?

SOAP is not a required dependency any longer. I need to make a clear Q&A area I guess
