Been getting the below message a lot, but a quick refresh fixes the issue. Any advice on why this started happening?

seems like your MySQL server is slow to respond? Do you get more detail in the MySQL or Apache error logs?

Do you have it running on the same box as your web server or is it remote? Has it crashed recently.. did you run a MySQL recovery against it yet?

If MySQL has issues, it'll be in the MySQL log.. similarly if it's just apache timing out for some reason it should be in the apache error log.
